On Labor Day weekend, Saturday September 5th, The DC Wheels skate crusaders and friends will be Skateboarding 45 miles through three states to raise money for the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans. This will be a nine to 10 hour journey rain or shine! Please join us on this day to come together as a community and help those in need. Volunteers are always welcome for the checkpoints. Sponsors are welcome as well. Ride On!
-Take off is at Noon from Bethesda Boards on 9/5/26. 11am for stretching, board repairs and speech first.

Wow! Super great cause. The leg from Alx to Dub's house is a haul. Trail becomes pretty dire. The neighborhood that runs along that part has beautiful asphalt, and traffic is pretty much nonexistent. Overly wide road with lights. I pick it up at Dyke marsh. Course over GWPW and take it down to just before Ft. Hunt Park, where you have to pick the trail back up. From there to G's house, the trail is good again. Hope this is at least worth looking at. Trail has a lot of roots, cracks, and overgrown foliage. If it sounds like something you might be interested in, hmu, and I can provide logistics 😮😍👏👏🔥
