I really LOVE the new moonspell magic range, I think the dolls and concept is just SO COOL. However, the moment I first saw images of Willow Thorn, I KNEW she needed a different hair colour. Not that I don’t like purple, quite the contrary, I love it, but purple is a colour that least occurs in nature, so it’s often used in art to convey something unnatural and mysterious. So it felt WEIRD to have a NATURE themed doll have purple as the main colour. It made her look more inorganic than it did plant themed. So, I pushed the purple back a bit, although still keeping it in her palette, and chose a complimentary red to her green. I like how it gives her a Poison Ivy vibe.
