I went networking... but I already knew who I wanted to meet. 😉

Last night I headed to The Lekker Network event at the @hotelskysa to hear international keynote speaker @hein_wagner.

I’d heard about Hein for years, so finally getting the chance to hear him speak - and spend some time chatting afterwards - was a real treat.

While we both happen to be blind, our stories couldn't be more different.

Hein has been blind since birth. I lost my sight later in life. We’ve each learned to navigate the world in our own way.

Thank you, Hein, for changing perspectives in the room and for sharing your incredible story with humour and a whole lot of heart! You might just teach me a thing or two yet. 😊
