NOW OPEN!
I STILL LIKE BIRDS
EDAN AZZOPARDI
——
Edan Azzopardi's biggest exhibition yet is now open!
Azzopardi’s fascination with birds began long before picking up a paintbrush, and growing up he spent much of his time on the family’s emu farm–where one of his jobs was to collect the eggs from their nests.
Those early experiences have imbued in him a close connection to Australian animals, and a lasting appreciation for the personalities and presence they bring to our landscape. Now splitting his time between the city and his bush property in the Macedon Ranges, this exhibition is a celebration of the native wildlife returning to thrive from his regenerative efforts, and continues to inspire his painting practice.
