What a blessing to get older. I absolutely love the idea of experiencing more experiences and there is no second I spend of my day wanting to go back in time to the younger days.
We all have reflection points in our lives, one being our birthdays. I think a little pause of reflection is important before tearing through another year.
I turned 35 about a week ago. The last year included but not limited to: opening a new business, losing my two pups, Juliet and Kobe, getting married to my best friend, moving cities, and adopting our new puppy, Honey.
Five years ago, I took a chance on me and I was very naive to life but nonetheless risked it for a biscuit I knew nothing about, but knew I had to change my life and take a chance on myself.
Anyways, I am proud of my 35 years. This last year, even with deep sadness of losing my love of life puppies, may have been the best year of it, but I have a feeling, (you know that deep down feeling we get sometimes) I know the best has yet to come.
Thank you for all the support, the laughs at my jokes, the critiques, the pauses, and the advice. Thanks for the birthday wishes! Hope to see you this year!
