There are just a couple days left to submit comments on the NPS, BLM, and Fish & Wildlife Service proposals that will shape how fixed climbing anchors are managed in wilderness.
We created a guide to help climbers write substantive, personalized comments on these draft policies for all three agencies.
If you haven't submitted comments yet, there's still time. Our guide highlights the key issues affecting climbers - including the long-term ability to maintain and replace aging fixed anchors and responsibly establish new routes - and provides suggestions for areas where the agencies need additional clarity.
