🦦 We're resharing one of our favourite trail camera videos of river otters captured underwater in the Credit River Watershed in recognition of some exciting news.
A recent
@cbchamilton story highlighted a river otter sighting in the Grimsby Wetlands and featured CVC's Laura Timms, who described otters as a conservation success story. Sightings are becoming more common across southwestern Ontario, reflecting the benefits of habitat restoration, improved water quality and the protection of natural areas.
We've seen encouraging signs here, too, with river otters spotted on trail cameras, confirmed through tracks and reported by community members across the watershed.
Moments like these remind us why protecting, restoring, and enhancing our watershed is so important. 💚 Read more through the link in bio.
