The first time I hit record, I stared at that red dot for like 20 minutes before I said a single word.

Here’s what nobody tells you: that fear doesn’t go away because you get “ready.” It goes away because you hit record anyway, 100 times, while still scared.

Confidence isn’t the prerequisite. It’s the byproduct.

You’re not waiting to feel ready. You’re waiting to stop waiting.

Hit record. Say something. Fix it in post if you have to. But stop letting a camera lens have more power over you than your own goals do.
