an attack for @/randomstuff7739 on art fight!! I had so much fun with this piece 🥹

I think one of my biggest art regrets was not experimenting sooner... I was so convinced that I had to draw in a certain way using the same rigid set of brushes because I thought that was the art style I wanted, or at least the one that was right for me. Also I just wasn't bothered to watch the ads on ibispaint to unlock the other brushes 😭😭😭 but it has been such a game changer... I've found that I love textured brushes and the way they look, and they make drawing and rendering so enjoyable!!! So if you ever feel stuck with your art style, or even if you feel like you're comfortable with it, take some time to play with brushes!!! You never know what you might discover 🥹

This is one of the main reasons why art fight was such a valuable experience for me... I would not have stepped out of my comfort zone or drawn so much if I hadn't participated! With each drawing I learned something knew about my process... I identified which things worked and which parts didn't work so much or could have been improved... The key was to use each piece as a stepping stone and understand how I could do better next time!!! I definitely think I've improved from the start of July to now 🥹
