Happy (almost) Augtober! Doing this post now because I won’t actually have time this weekend!

I’m already getting fall themed cookbooks & baking books from the library to get new ideas for the coming months!!

As much as I love window shopping for autumn & Halloween decor I’m saying no to overconsumption and not really buying anything this year besides fall smelling candles which I use all year and using decor I already have and have built a connection with.

The autumn season to me is way more about that FEELING I get in the fall.

I really do come alive when autumn comes around! I feel motivated to make plans with friends & family, have movie nights, bake & cook hearty foods, go for longer walks, visit farms & corn mazes and haunted houses and it’s the one time of year my introverted self wants to soak up every moment with loved ones doing spooky things!!

It’s that nostalgic feeling of watching all the spooky & witchy movies I grew up with in the 90s and cherishing the memories of the amazing Halloweens my parents gave me growing up!

I love and appreciate every season nature gives us but nothing will come close to my love of autumn! So excited for my house to smell like all things pumpkin, clove & cinnamon soon!

To my spooky ghouls - were almost there! Hoodie season is around the corner!!!
