Absolutely gutted to be sitting this one out.
Popped my shoulder out during my seeding run yesterday, but I still held onto a bit of hope. Gave it everything I had in practice this morning, trying to convince myself it would be good enough to race. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t.
It’s hard to put into words how much this one hurts after all the work that’s gone into getting here.
We will try again another day.
Best of luck to the crew out there today. I’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines.
