One of the biggest mistakes I see when people do cable rows is leaning too far backwards and using momentum to pull the weight towards them

By swinging your body backwards, you’re relying on momentum rather than controlling the movement, which can take the focus away from your back and make it harder to get the most out of each rep

You don’t need to throw your whole body into the movement to get a good back workout! Keep your torso relatively stable, your core engaged and focus on pulling the handle towards you with control, rather than rocking backwards with every rep!

If you have to lean back and use momentum to move the weight, it’s probably a sign that you need to lower it!

Next time you do cable rows, try dropping the weight slightly and focusing on controlled reps. You might be surprised by how much better you feel your back working💪🏼
