**CLARK FOX: BEYOND OBEDIENCE 🎨** Spanning nearly six decades, *Beyond Obedience* explores the distinctive practice of American artist Clark V. Fox, whose work moves between abstraction, Pop art, political painting and cultural critique. Drawing on American history, Indigenous heritage and symbols of consumer culture, Fox challenges established narratives through bold imagery, satire and recurring visual motifs. Curated by Jane Livingston, the exhibition traces Fox’s artistic journey, from his early association with the Washington Color School to his increasingly political and culturally charged works. **Image-wise details:** **Image 1:** Clark Fox — Exhibition portrait. **Image 2:** *The Running Fox I* (1990) Oil on canvas | 12 × 9 in. Some people don’t see you as a friend. They see you as a step. 🪜👀 ⠀ They show up warm and full of promises when they need something. A favor, a connection, your time, your help getting to where they’re trying to go. And because you’re a good person, you give it. ⠀ Then they get what they wanted, and suddenly they’re nowhere to be found. The calls stop. The loyalty disappears. You were never part of the plan. You were just what they climbed on to get there. ⠀ Kindness is a strength, but blind kindness is a weakness. Keep helping people, just pay attention to who gives back and who only ever takes. The way someone treats you once they no longer need you tells you everything. ⠀ Be generous with your heart, but never let anyone use your back as their staircase. ⠀ Follow @Wealth to learn valuable advice every time you open Instagram. ⭐ ⠀ #Wealth #Loyalty #Respect #Mindset #LifeLessons
Day 38: Huell Babineaux || Better Call Saul 📞 Huell Babineaux is Saul Goodman's personal bodyguard and fixer in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, a huge man whose sheer size alone makes him intimidating. He rarely says much, but when he does it's usually blunt and honest, often pointing out when something is a bad idea. Despite his quiet nature, he is incredibly skilled as a pickpocket and as muscle, Saul uses him for everything from lifting wallets and planting evidence to just standing behind him to make people nervous. Underneath that intimidating exterior, Huell is actually laid-back, loyal and surprisingly gentle. He loves food, he hates unnecessary risk, and he sticks by Saul and later Jimmy even when things get dangerous. He is not a cold killer like many other characters in the Breaking Bad world, he is just a professional who does his job, wants to get paid, and wants to go home safe.
