i took the “global journey” bus trip from amsterdam to tomorrowland, so i spent one night before the bus in amsterdam with some hawai’i friends, followed by four solo days after i got back. monday and tuesday were recovery days, wednesday was exploring the home of international law as my lawyer nerd self, and thursday i went on a food tour.

my lawyer nerd heart was beaming. this was the coolest experience i had in the netherlands.

there was a demonstration of filipino people who wanted duterte freed. see next photo for details.

i wrote a comparative law paper about contrasting drug policies around the world when i was in law school. portugal had the most liberal drug policies. the philippines had the harshest.
