I’m so happy I found this podcast through Tallhart sharing it via their Instagram story. I discovered Tallhart when they opened for one of Anthony Raneri’s acoustic tours here in Philly, and I was blown away from the very first note Matt sang. To this day, they’re still in my regular Spotify rotation, and I’ve often found myself asking, “where are these guys”. It’s hard to understand how someone with Matt’s voice isn’t making music professionally, the world needs it. He probably never wanted this, but he would kill on “the voice”. I’ve scoured the internet now and then over the years, so I was beyond happy you did this, thank you. It feels like a little bit of closure. Like you, they’re still the band I mention as my example of “a band that should have been bigger”. Thanks again. Did you see when Zach Bryan shared he was listening to them last year? That was awesome too
