Maryland Hall Classes

We think a lot about buying things, but rarely about what it took to make them.

This summer at Maryland Hall, students spent a week transforming a simple log 🪵 into a handcrafted chair🪑, learning how to split and carve wood, cut joinery, and bring their project to life. It’s just one example of the hands-on experiences happening in our woodworking classes, where students of all skill levels can learn new techniques and create something that lasts generations.
