Humberto Busto is heading to the Venice Film Festival with ‘Tijuana, todavía,’ starring in and producing the Mexican feature directed by Gabriel Gutiérrez Morales.
Selected as one of only four Biennale College Cinema projects worldwide, the film received a €200,000 production grant and follows Chava, a middle-aged gay man in Tijuana whose life changes after meeting a young Russian refugee through a dating app.
‘Tijuana, todavía’ will premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
