Facebook keeps sending me ads for Drone delivery. And I thought ‘Cool! Maybe I’ll take advantage of the free trial!’, and I looked it up. Yes, available to my address from the nearby Walmart!
So I thought, maybe I’ll put together a shopping list. I had a look in the fridge and started with a gallon of milk (yes, my British friends, we buy milk by the gallon here, but it’s a short gallon of 3.79 litres as opposed to 4.54… their pints are short too).
Anyway, I made that my first item. Squawk! Nope. Greyed out option. Why? Because the drone isn’t allowed to carry more than 2.5 pounds.
So the whole delivery by drone idea is rendered pointless unless I have an emergency need of a few marshmallows.
I deleted the app.
I wonder what a chicken karahi and a naan bread weighs?
