There are some opals that leave you completely speechless. ✨
La Stupenda is one of them.
This extraordinary gem was found by my husband, John Bernard, in our own Jundah-Opalville mines in Queensland. What makes it so remarkable is the intensity of its colour and the way it comes alive with movement. There is so much happening within this opal that, honestly, words can only say so much.
It is one of the most treasured pieces in our private collection and one I feel incredibly fortunate to have known and lived with.
A truly exceptional creation of nature. One of a kind and never to be found again.
