Alyssa Mito Pusey at Charlesbridge has bought world rights to the picture book Little Capy: A Day in the Life of a Young Capybara by Janet Lawler, and Cathleen Schaad has acquired world rights for illustration by Carolina Coroa. The rhyming story follows a young capybara as she goes about her day—eating, socializing, playing, and escaping danger—before settling down for the night. Publication is scheduled for fall 2027; Anne Moore Armstrong at the Bright Agency represented the author, and Christie Megill at the CAT Agency represented the illustrator.
