2027: Peter Obi Is Master Of Bogus Statistics And Incoherent Economic Prescriptions; Claims He Won 2023 Election Without Any Evidence — Vice-President Shettima Vice-President Kashim Shettima has described Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as the “master of bogus statistics and incoherent economic prescriptions” while criticising his comparisons between Nigeria and other countries. Shettima made the remarks on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja. He likened Obi’s economic comparisons to trying to fit a size 36 shirt tailored for Bangladesh onto Nigeria’s “size 52 frame,” arguing that policies successful in one country cannot automatically work in another without considering differences in population, economic structures and institutions. The Vice-President said, “A country of over 250 million people cannot be governed through borrowed statistics and economic prescriptions detached from its peculiarities.” Shettima also questioned Obi’s claims about winning the 2023 presidential election, saying he had made “bogus claims” without providing evidence. “I respect Peter Obi, but he has gone beyond his mastery of philosophy to make bogus claims about winning the 2023 presidential elections without adducing a shred of evidence,” he said, describing it as “delusion of grandeur.”
This may be my most surprising food find in Taipei to date, and yes, I was influenced by the local influencers. 😂 You can get the viral Erewhon smoothie experience in Taipei for about half the price of the originals in LA, and I had to see what the hype was about. @heyday.taipei is a cafe in Taipei’s Xinyi District serving Erewhon smoothie dupes inspired by the famous Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie and the blue smoothie that’s been going viral on social media. I tried both the pink and blue versions, and if you’re in Taiwan and curious about the celebrity smoothie trend, but don’t want to spend $20+ on a smoothie, this is the place to try! The Hailey-inspired Glow smoothie is made with Greek yogurt, strawberries, raspberries, rose, honey, maple syrup, acai powder and collagen powder. It costs NT$360 (about US$11), compared with around US$19–21 for the original Erewhon version. Heyday has six smoothies on the menu, ranging from NT$280–420 (about US$9–13). A bit splurgy for Taiwan but if you’re visiting from N. America these are a great price point. Options include a green blend with mango, pineapple, spinach, cucumber and mint, plus blueberry and banana combinations, protein powder and other add-ons. So even if the celebrity-inspired drinks aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other blends to try. They also offer sushi and smoothie bowls if you’re looking for a light bite. 📍 Heyday Address: No. 87, Section 2, Keelung Rd, Xinyi District, Taipei City 110 🚇 Near Taipei 101 in Xinyi District 🕙 Daily, 10 AM–6 PM 💰 Smoothies: NT$280–420 (about US$9–13) 🍓 Glow, the Hailey-inspired smoothie: NT$360 (about US$11) Save this for your next Taipei trip if you love finding local version of viral food trends. #erewhonsmoothie #haileybiebersmoothie #erewhon #taipeieats #taipeifood
