3.1 million people are now living with multiple sclerosis (MS) worldwide.

Published today, this new estimate draws on data from 133 countries, representing 93% of the world's population. It provides the most comprehensive picture of global MS prevalence and incidence to date.

Global MS prevalence is up from 2.8 million in 2020 and 1.8 million in 2013. Today, 1 in every 2,600 people lives with MS.
