“re-construire” rassemble des explorations autour de la matière, de sa transformation et de son réemploi. Présentée dans un atelier lui-même en reconstruction à la suite d’un incendie, l’exposition détourne les matériaux de l’architecture et porte un regard nouveau sur ce qui compose notre environnement construit, à une époque où reconstruire devient une manière de repenser notre rapport à l’existant et à nos ressources.

“re-construire” brings together explorations in materiality, transformation, and reuse. Presented in a studio itself undergoing reconstruction following a fire, the exhibition reimagines architectural materials and offers a new perspective on what makes up our built environment, at a time when rebuilding has become a way of rethinking our relationship with what already exists and with our resources.
