Soft serve? Hard YES! #BestOfBirthday #48IsGr8 🎉
.
Birthday weekend at Canobie Lake Park! ❤️ I’ve spent YEARS looking at Untamed and thinking, Absolutely not. That drop is INSANE. 😳
.
Then Henry convinced us all to ride it. And guess what? I DID IT! And…I actually had a blast! 🎢😂
Apparently middle-age me can still handle roller coasters, but spinning and swinging rides? My inner ear has officially retired. I Googled it and it is due to sensory mismatch whereby your eyes, inner ears, and body send mixed signals to your brain. In other words, as you age, your balance system loses efficiency, making it harder for your brain to process fast, confusing movements. What a drag!
.
I’m still a kid at heart — just with slightly more limited ride options! 😆

P.S. The Beach Boys are playing The Big E this month!
