We took Maartje on one of our guided shoots, seeing how she could capture the world around her. She chose “Weemoedig” as the title for her photographs: a reflection of what the walk meant to her. In Dutch, this word often refers to the bittersweet feeling of missing a time, place, or person while also feeling nostalgic about it. These are her outcomes!
