ابراهیم عگیری، دادستان عمومی و انقلاب شهرستان هویزه، خبر اجرای حکم شلاق برای کارکنان شرکت پتروپارس را «قویا» تکذیب کرده است.

به گزارش رسانه دولتی ایرنا، دادستان هویزه همچنین تهدید کرده است که با کسانی که این «شایعه» را منتشر کرده‌اند «برخورد قانونی» صورت خواهد گرفت.

در اطلاعیه دادستان هویزه آمده که «محتوای منتشرشده در خصوص اجرای حکم مذکور، کاملا عاری از حقیقت بوده و قویا تکذیب می‌شود» و «هرگونه ادعایی مبنی بر اجرای احکام خارج از تشریفات قانونی، فاقد وجاهت و مستند قانونی است» و «انتشار چنین مطالب کذبی با اهدافی همچون تشویش اذهان عمومی، برهم زدن امنیت روانی جامعه و تخریب وجهه نهادهای قضایی صورت می‌پذیرد.»

روز گذشته منابع حقوق بشری گزارش کردند که حکم ۷۴ ضربه شلاق تعزیری و پرداخت جزای نقدی علیه بیش از ۱۰ نفر از کارمندان اخراجی شرکت پتروپارس در شهرستان هویزه، به اجرا درآمده است.

به گزارش هرانا، این افراد پیش‌تر در پی برگزاری تجمعات اعتراضی نسبت به عدم تمدید قراردادهای کاری خود بازداشت شده و با شکایت شرکت پتروپارس تحت پیگرد قضایی قرار گرفته بودند.

دیروز یک منبع آگاه به بی‌بی‌سی گفته بود که این افراد عمدتا از عرب‌های خوزستان هستند و افزود که انسداد مسیر ورودی شرکت پتروپارس و همچنین درگیری با نیروی انتظامی از جمله موارد اتهامی منجر به صدور این حکم برای کارگران معترض بوده است.
