Recording for Giovanna by @c.a.meadows is officially (finally) underway*, with the first checkpoint now under review! 👏🏻 I loved reading this, and am thrilled and feel so blessed to be bringing it to audio. I’ve got the second and third books on my shelf now too (Ashlynn & Barbos) and can’t wait to dig into those! ✨
*My child in utero continues to siphon so much of my energy that by the time my day with birthed kids is over (6-ish am to 8:45/9pm) it’s a toss up whether I can muster the ability to get book work done (and that’s also provided nothing else is hindering recording - lawnmowers, thunderstorms, and the like) in my already very-part-time work window of 9-11pm. 🫠 As always I am SO incredibly appreciative of my authors’ flexibility with timelines right now. 🙏 ❤️
📖 Back to the book! You can pause the screen to read the blurb (hopefully 😅) but here it is too:
✨ Enter the world of Pensatore, the world of the elements. Pensatore is in a constant state of unease as the people of Fire and Water can’t seem to live together in harmony. One great battle threatens both Fire and Water’s kind. Before the battle begins, a miraculous thing happens. Two children are made by the clash of the elements. One of Fire and Water, the other of Earth and Wind. These children are predicted by the Elders to join all the elemental cities together, in peace.
Giovanna, an eighteen year old girl, living a normal life with her family discovers on her eighteenth birthday that she is not what she seems. Her emotions control everything around her and she must figure out how to control them. Walk with her through her journey to discover herself, her powers and Pensatore, her home. With the help of Maylexus, a magnificent pegasus, she battles inner and outer demons. She has to travel to magical places in search of her true ability and purpose. ✨
