Suurten puolueiden, kuten Kokoomuksen, hiljattaiset ulostulot koskien maahanmuuttopoliitiikan kiristyksiä ovat osa irvokasta trendiä, jossa puolueet oikealta vasemmalle juoksevat kilpaa kohti pohjaa. Seuraavista eduskuntavaaleista pedataan jälleen maahanmuuttovaaleja ja irtopisteitä kerätään tavallisten maahanmuuttajataustaisten ihmisten kustannuksella.
