Pitch deck for 'Questing for Beginners' 🐦☕️📚🫂⚔️🪄

One sentence pitch: in a world where quests, heroes, and powerful magic are long since lost, a gloomy wizard who wants nothing more than to be left alone, walks into an unstable sigil that puts him in charge of the first quest in four hundred years.

About me: I adore mixing the absurd with the grounded and exploring deep inter-character relationships that aren't necessarily romantic. I have a background in academia that inspired the primary wizarding academy of this world and all the ridiculousness within. And -- this should be said -- I personally don't have any grudge against pigeons.

I want to read an interesting caption but I haven't finished writing that either. But then again, captions aren't the type to have plot twists, romance or dragons

Actually...
🐉

There. A dragon. You're welcome.

I don't believe anyone really reads captions and I could be wrong but aince I am a writer I feel perhaps I ought to put in some effort. But since no one will read this I will take the time to admit that I don't understand instagram. I feel like a dinosaur or perhaps a being looking down at earth from above. There are 800 new terms in every new post and, quite frankly, I'm not sure I want to know what an omegaverse is. There is advice to be pretty, social, consistent and trending. I can manage pretty, i can be somewhat consistent but as someone who has never really done the "social" part of social media I have no idea what to do.

Interact!!! But how? Why? I have never been a commenter. It feels false when I do.

I shall figure it out. I hope, anyway. But until then I will totter through this app with the underdtanding of something primordial and every so slightly hungry for doughnuts.

Oh, yes. Tags.
#writingabook #writerlife #writer #writersofinstagram #aspiringauthor

What do they do? No one knows. And we cannot forget the keywords.
Bookstagram bookish booktok books writer writing novel booktok

I imagine a "booktok" as some kind of world where books are all ticking timebombs and if you here a book "tok" it is time to run. Really quite fast.

I have probably waffled enough but if, for some bizarre reason you are still with me, perhaps a follow? I may go on more caption-based rants. And, at the very least, the posts will be pretty.

Yours sincerely,
Anythingbutwrite I want to read the book I'm writing but I haven't finished writing it yet. Naturally i will blame this on the universe

Oooh dragons and knights and quests and IS THAT MAGIC 👀💅✨️

Capitalism and development comes for us all I guess... kinda miss the dragons though... ☕️📚🐦

What are they gonna do? Bus to the deadly trials lmao?

What do you mean, yes?

Any of that sound cool? Then my fantasy novel Questing for Beginners might be for you!
