Kinda chic to have churros waffles for dinner πββοΈπ Finally revisited @tomocafesg after 2 years and as a sweet tooth, i couldn't resist having my beloved chuffles hehe
β§ΛΒ° chuffle breakie ($19) - 8.8/10β¨
Ngl, this was basic but well-executed ππ Was excited for the chuffles bc i rmbed loving them and they were as good as before! They had buttery, crispy edges and fluffy insides, with a generous coating of cinnamon sugar for extra warmth π§πͺ I found some parts slightly tough though. For the sides, my favs were the fresh baby spinach salad and crispy tater tots. Y'all NEED to dip the tater tots in the fragrant truffle mayo ππ
β§ΛΒ° duck aglio olio ($18) - 7/10 (bf's rating)
My bf said this was just okay π¦π He liked the smoked duck and al-dente pasta, but felt it could be more well-seasoned. I had one bite and found it v heavy on the chilli flakes haha πΆοΈπ
β§ΛΒ° hot kuro goma milk ($7) - 7/10
I loveee black sesame so i had to try this!! It fell short of my expectations though π While the nutty black sesame notes came through, they could've been more prominent π€π₯ The black sesame paste was also slightly grainy
Tldr: Defo one of the BEST churros waffles out there π₯Ήπ€ Can try the other mains and drinks but i wouldn't specially drop by
