Third time at Tomo cafe and I think I can safely say that they really do their pastas right and are invested in reinventing pasta? They have so many interesting pasta flavours and somehow they balance it so well I’m always excited to come back and try a new pasta! What the tiny tummy has tried and what I would re-order again (😋): 1. Chilli Crab Linguine 😋 2. Rose Duck Linguine 😋 3. Wagyu Hamburg Don 4. Honey Soy Wings 😋 - I’ve already ordered this twice and it never disappoints 5. Truffle Mentaiko Fries (not pictured) 6. Seafood Laksa Pasta (not pictured) 6. Tomo’s Breakfast 😋 - huge portion, so worth!! 7. Iced Matcha Cloud Latte 8. Iced Matcha Latte 9. Iced Goma Cloud Latte 10. Mentaiko Mac and Cheese (no longer on the menu) Also, sign up for the membership (they call it being a tomodachi? So cute ahahah); you get points to exchange for free drinks and sides and it’s one of the memberships that does that quite easily actually! by @tomocafesg
📍ToMo cafe @ Thomson! Stumbled upon this cafe and they had a lunch promo! With every main ordered, it comes with potato salad or tori karaage, and a drink! Crab linguine🦀 There’s a choice for miso butter, chili crab or lemon butter sauce! I got the miso butter and it was surprisingly creamy despite it being a butter base. Very rich and savoury, and the pasta was cooked al dente! It got a little jelat towards the last few bites since it’s a bit oily. Matcha Strawberry Cloud Latte🍓 So pretty and cute! It was thick from the strawberry foam but was a little too sweet. Love the strawberry flavour from this tho! Wouldn’t mind coming for the drinks here, they have very interesting selections like tiramisu latte! Loved the atmosphere here too, perfect place to study and chill🔥 #sgeats #sgfoodies #sgcafefood #pasta #sgfooddiary by @tomocafesg
📍ToMo | Upper Thomson Kinda chic to have churros waffles for dinner 🙂‍↕️👌 Finally revisited @tomocafesg after 2 years and as a sweet tooth, i couldn't resist having my beloved chuffles hehe ✧˖° chuffle breakie ($19) - 8.8/10✨ Ngl, this was basic but well-executed 🌟😋 Was excited for the chuffles bc i rmbed loving them and they were as good as before! They had buttery, crispy edges and fluffy insides, with a generous coating of cinnamon sugar for extra warmth 🧇🪄 I found some parts slightly tough though. For the sides, my favs were the fresh baby spinach salad and crispy tater tots. Y'all NEED to dip the tater tots in the fragrant truffle mayo 🍟🍄 ✧˖° duck aglio olio ($18) - 7/10 (bf's rating) My bf said this was just okay 🦆🍝 He liked the smoked duck and al-dente pasta, but felt it could be more well-seasoned. I had one bite and found it v heavy on the chilli flakes haha 🌶️👀 ✧˖° hot kuro goma milk ($7) - 7/10 I loveee black sesame so i had to try this!! It fell short of my expectations though 😅 While the nutty black sesame notes came through, they could've been more prominent 🖤🥛 The black sesame paste was also slightly grainy Tldr: Defo one of the BEST churros waffles out there 🥹🤎 Can try the other mains and drinks but i wouldn't specially drop by by @tomocafesg
