The number one question I always get asked is what I do all day at work… well, here you go!

Granted, no two weeks look the same, and I’d say this past one was pretty tame, with a sprinkle of back to school, breaking news and this god-awful Texas heat. 🥵

Here’s what a “chill” week looks like from my newsroom desk.

My favorite part? #BreakingNews. While breaking news tends not to be good news, scavenging for information, writing breaking scripts and pushing updates to #social is always the most intense and oddly fun part of my day.

And why do I think social first? Because who isn’t doomscrolling on their phone during their lunch break?! Or during all the other times we probably shouldn’t be on our phones… 🧐📱
