I spent years watching companies give up on African candidates because their HR systems were not built to support the hire.
Not because the talent was not there. Because no one could answer the compliance questions fast enough. What contract type does Cameroon require? What is the CNPS registration deadline? Does this agreement need to be bilingual?
The questions were not hard. The answers just were not built into any tool that existed.
