Overlay the fact that he is also a comedian and you have a sharply articulate description of the bi-polar brain in action, on fire, and churning out paintings at an astounding rate that illustrates mental illness in a medium that is compelling, haunting, beautiful, surprising and completely eye-opening. Sam describes behavior and thoughts that seem impossible to imagine and delivers it all with a humor that keeps you laughing regularly and loudly as you hang on the edge of your seat.
