Ballet d’Jèrri | Contemporary Dance

A few weeks ago, Ballet d’Jèrri’s choreographer, Katya Bourvis, led a week of Lé Craque-nouaix (The Nutcracker) community workshops at the Jersey Opera House.

In Part 1, we’re taking a look back at our adult workshops, where participants explored movement and choreography inspired by Katya’s new interpretation of this much-loved classic. The sessions offered a glimpse into the creative process behind the production, while giving participants the opportunity to discover, create and perform together.

It was wonderful to welcome members of our community into the studio and to see such enthusiasm, curiosity and creativity throughout the week.
