🎙️ NEW EPISODE — and this one's for everyone who's ever typed "can anyone recommend a plumber?"
For 12 years, Mariana Pope has been the woman behind the West U Information Exchange — the Facebook group many of us check before we check the news. She's a full-time attorney, a mom of four, and she's run "Wooey" (her word — we're making it a thing) entirely as a volunteer since 2014.
Natalie sits down with Mariana to talk about:
🌟 How it all started
🚫 What gets a post taken down — and why
👙 The infamous thong post
🍋 The lemon-stealing nanny
❤️ The donation drives and emergency rescues that show what West U is really made of
🐈 And a surprise visit from Prince Pumpkin himself
Watch on YouTube or listen wherever you get your podcasts. Link in bio!

I’m worried about ball moss. Can you do a series on ball moss? It’s difficult to fight and can kill a weaken tree. Many big, beautiful mature trees on both sides of University between Rice and the medical center are covered with these plants. They can spread and would do such damage to the beautiful trees in our lovely neighborhood. Thank you!
