Man. To get the call midday by Rob saying he had some great news from the @soazhcc was incredibly humbling and unexpected.
To be able to help take care of those who take care of everyone else is my favorite thing to do and it goes beyond just a “job” for me.
It’s what I’ve dedicated my life to and a calling. Both with these hands and with my voice! Its about service for me, so to be recognized in this light sparked my soul something different.
Moving to Tucson post covid and opening up The Source 5 years ago to 17 months at Alma Sana and I really feel I’m just finishing warming up.
Recently pouring into Residents of Integrative medicine at the Andrew Weil Center, to the Air Force base, and speaking more and more to organizations/teams in the city feels outstanding.
Today wouldn’t have happened without THE most amazing people I’ve had the honor to take care of the last several years.
Y’alll truly take this work and make the spaces that y’all occupy better. You champion the care and demonstrate the work, WORKS especially when we work lol
I thank you for your trust and willingness to lean into me in a profession that is commonly misunderstood and misrepresented however holds a lot of truth and keys to autonomy in navigating health.
I’m grateful for my class of 2026 honorees for the co-inspiration and such a rich morning. S/O to y’all! Especially Nia and @rossy.upleveled you are forces to be had. The city is and I feel are blessed to have you here in Tucson!!
Lastly, I’m grateful for @lexxxbaby2 Mmmmm YOU! YOU my love, celebrate me, push me, and effort to see me like no other. I love having you at my side in life, but receiving this award with you in my life makes it feel more whole.
