Recet | THE TRAP DRUMMER

“Jeep” by Token and TERROR REID - this song is bonkers. Love playing it. I’ve enjoyed Token’s music for a while, starting with “Between Somewhere”. Would love to perform this live. Before I knew who TERROR REID was, I knew him as Getter (who didn’t), specifically from his album “Visceral”. Love that album - some of my favorite EDM ever - throws me back to when I attended DU for music production.

Got to about -6 LUFs on this mix (hopefully it doesn’t ~sound~ like it). Going for that clipped sound especially when the kick and snare smack at the same time - all while still retaining the punch of the kick and snare.
