I cannot believe she is in college oy vey ! I’ve been following the Sevendust since the earth 90’s I feel like I’ve watched her grow up! This is such a tough time! But you eventually get numb to it lol she will be living her best life and do amazing!

Remember that day well when I dropped my oldest off for college because it's such a pivotal time of child they were and the young adult they are becoming. You and @ljspoon love and support for your children are paramount and she will rock this 🎸 🤘

I’m 55. My skin is loose in places. My forehead wrinkles. My eyes crinkle. My belly looks different when I stop holding it in. I’m also strong, active, and comfortable showing you all of it. ❤️ I choose to care for my body and mind. That doesn’t mean my skin will stop aging, or that it needs to. The wrinkles don’t bother me. What I question is the story we’ve been told: that as women age, we lose our beauty, our desirability, and somehow our worth, if we don’t continue looking young. Men become “silver foxes.” Their bellies can be considered sexy. Meanwhile, women are expected to keep looking like time never touched us. I’m choosing a different story. I can love my body as it is and keep caring for it, so that I’m healthy. Acceptance and effort can exist together. So can muscles and loose skin. For me, the beauty of aging is in getting to keep living, growing, and becoming more myself. Aging is a privilege. I want to experience it without constantly inspecting myself for something to fix. Your life. Your body. Your choices. Including choices different from mine. But let them come from what feels right for YOU. You get to question what you’ve been taught to dislike about yourself. We don’t control every change aging brings. We do have a say in the meaning we give those changes, and how we treat ourselves along the way.
