🤎 THE PRUNING | Pruning was part of God’s process of unraveling me.

After heartbreak, loss, and years of seeing the same patterns, loving myself became hard. Looking in the mirror became hard.

I had internalized so much of what I had experienced that I struggled to see myself beyond the pain.

And as I surrendered to God, He began taking me through the pruning process.

God began cutting away the things of old—the false identities, attachments, patterns, and ways of being that had formed along the way, but were never aligned with who He made me to be.

He wasn’t just removing things from my life. He was pruning what those experiences had produced within me.

Because before God could grow something new through me, He had to make room for it in me. Healing what was wounded, and preparing the soil of my heart to bear lasting fruit.
