NEW GROWTH | 🤎🌱🌷

I’m learning that growth can be quiet. And that’s okay. It can look like new boundaries.

New perspectives.
New standards.
New desires.
New discipline.
New peace.

It can look like no longer responding from the woman you used to be because God has done something new within you.

I love this new place because I’m not afraid of becoming unfamiliar to the person I used to be. A new boldness of the lioness within me is arising.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬)

👑🤎🌱🌷💐🌻 BLOOM FOR HIS GLORY | Bloom. Not because everything is perfect, but because God created you with intention.

Your petals may look different.
Your timing may look different.
Your journey may look different.

And that is the beauty of it.

Let God tend to you.
Strengthen your roots.
Prune what no longer belongs.
Water what has been dry.

Then bloom - not for comparison, not for applause, but for His glory. And when others see you, may they believe they can bloom too.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works…” (Ephesians 2:10)

DEEPER ROOTS, RICHER SOIL | 🤎🌱🌷

There is something so beautiful about becoming rooted in Christ.

Not just becoming more visible or looking beautiful on the outside, but allowing God to cultivate what is underneath.

He has been enriching the soil of my heart through every lesson, loss, surrender, and season that required me to begin again.

“…Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.”
Ephesians 3:17

The deeper I grow in His love, the more beautifully I bloom.

Not for validation.
Not for comparison.
But for His glory.

Deeply rooted. Richly nourished. Unafraid to grow.

🤎 TRUST | Someone once shared a word with me:

What God was doing in my life looked like the revival of a dying plant.

Looking back, I see it now.

Every season had purpose.
Every lesson taught me something.
Every pruning brought me closer to Him.

And through it all, God kept me.

Not only did He restore me—
He deepened my love for Him.

I’m not entering Chapter 36 because I have it all figured out.

I’m entering it with trust.

Trusting the Gardener.
Trusting what He’s taught me.
Trusting where He’s leading me.

Tomorrow, I begin a new chapter.

And this time, I’m not just surviving.

I’m living.

LIGHT & WATER | 🤎 Learning how to live.

A plant needs water.
A plant needs light.
But both must be given with intention.

Too little water, and it withers.
Too much, and its roots can drown.
Without light, it cannot grow toward what was created to sustain it.

God has been teaching me the same thing.

For so long, I was living in survival mode that I forgot what it meant to simply live.

And that’s what this season has been about.

Learning joy again.
Learning peace again.
Learning who I am outside of pain.
Learning how to receive love.
Learning how to live.

The more I dwell in God’s presence, the more content I become.

His presence is the environment where I grow and flourish the most—
His love healing every root of my being.

🤎 THE RIGHT POT | My true identity is rooted in God.

Everything I’ve walked through has shaped me.

It made me stronger.
It made me wiser.
It deepened my faith in God.

But those experiences didn’t create my identity.

Before the loss.
Before the hurt.
Before the rebuilding.

I was and I am still His.

The pot may change.
The environment may change.
But the plant is still the plant.

What surrounds me may change, but it doesn’t define me. My identity is rooted and planted in God, My Beautiful Gardner who I love so deeply.

FRESH SOIL | 🤎 New environment within me. After my divorce last year, I felt depleted. But in my bedroom one night, on my knees, I cried out to the Lord from the very depths of my soul and laid it all out at His feet.

Layer by layer, for the past few years, God has been healing what had been broken—showing me where I needed to forgive and release so He could restore my heart.

I realized fresh soil wasn’t just a new environment.

It was in HIS PRESENCE.

Safe in His care.
Held in His hand.
Close to His heart.

He was tilling the ground of my heart and renewing it for Him to dwell—so His love could grow deep within me and flow through me to others.

THE ROOTS | 🤎 Healing beneath the surface is uncomfortable—but it’s worth it for who I am now and who I’m becoming. It’s a beautiful journey of transformation to wholeness.

Healthy fruit comes from healthy roots.

I believe revival begins when we allow God to come into the places of our soul we’ve bottled up, buried, and hidden—even from ourselves.

He wasn’t just healing what I could see.
He was healing where it came from.

Fear.
Survival.
Performance.
Rejection.
Abuse.
Generational Trauma.

God was restoring my roots.

Because what He heals beneath the surface changes what grows from me.

🤎 THE PRUNING | Pruning was part of God’s process of unraveling me.

After heartbreak, loss, and years of seeing the same patterns, loving myself became hard. Looking in the mirror became hard.

I had internalized so much of what I had experienced that I struggled to see myself beyond the pain.

And as I surrendered to God, He began taking me through the pruning process.

God began cutting away the things of old—the false identities, attachments, patterns, and ways of being that had formed along the way, but were never aligned with who He made me to be.

He wasn’t just removing things from my life. He was pruning what those experiences had produced within me.

Because before God could grow something new through me, He had to make room for it in me. Healing what was wounded, and preparing the soil of my heart to bear lasting fruit.

THE INSPECTION | 🤎 Before God restores, He reveals.

There were places in my life I had learned to ignore because surviving had become normal.

Somewhere along the way, I became numb to things too painful to address. I was carrying the weight of life’s obligations on my own, so I stopped processing and simply went through the motions of life.

But God, in His loving care, began inspecting the hidden places of my heart—uncovering what I had buried, what I had normalized, and what needed to be healed.

I remember the Lord saying:

“I’m unraveling you. Unraveling everything that is false. Every false identity. Until all you see is the core of Brittney.”

Something awakened in me that day.

I knew right then: This is my revival story.
