✨ Katie’s Tributes To The Classics ✨

✨ Happy Seven of Nine Day ✨

In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Star Trek, I would like to showcase one remarkable character from the franchise: Seven of Nine. Watching her evolution on Star Trek: Voyager was riveting, inspiring and showed a futuristic aspect of a woman growing into herself with the admirable traits of confidence, grace and perseverance. We saw her overcome immense pain and trauma and reestablish herself as her own, confident individual in a walk through the threshold of humanity. In many ways, Seven’s journey on Voyager cascaded an enriched life; experiencing growth, mistakes, triumphs, friendships, family and love. After the agony of reclaiming her individuality which had been stolen from her youth, Seven of Nine showed how you could become a survivor and move forward with conviction while allowing your past make you stronger. And that is truly a ‘legacy’ ✨

Thank-you to the Voyager writers who created Seven and wrote so many beautiful scripts showcasing her growth into humanity. And to @jerilryan for playing her with such composure, dignity and resolve throughout your tenure ❤️
