POSTS STORIES REELS

Futuristically born on this day, May 20, 2336, Kathryn Janeway, Captain of the USS Voyager exceptionally played by Kate Mulgrew in Star Trek: Voyager (1995-2001). I thought it fitting for the 60th Anniversary of the Star Trek franchise to make a video completion of the seven years Captain Janeway courageously helmed the USS Voyager on her journey home. Through battles and hardships, love and loss, mistakes and tactically outstanding action, Kathryn Janeway made her name across the stars, and in many peoples hearts as the best Captain in Star Trek history. The first time I heard “Andromeda” by Weyes Blood and the lyrics “Running from my own life now / I’m really turning some time / Looking up to the sky for something I may never find....” I immediately thought of Janeway and decided at long last to edit a tribute to her timeless legacy ✨

She taught us the right way, the wrong way....and The Janeway.

25 years ago today, the triumphant and beautifully executed series finale of Star Trek: Voyager “Endgame” aired ✨

Despite being a science fiction series finale, “Endgame” resonates as a human story and a family story. You are taken right into the USS Voyager and like a crewman you feel yourself working alongside the crew - rooting for them to return home.

Every moment is seamless and leaves you with no questions at the end. For being twenty-five years old, this episode feels like it could be made today, but in truth it could not be. This series finale is exactly what Gene Roddenberry had in mind when creating Star Trek. It ends on a positive note with hopeful sentiment for tomorrow and a united family forever.

I would like to say this edit was a full labor of love and took many hours to complete but the final result was worth it.

With gratitude to writers Rick Berman, Brannon Braga, Kenneth Biller, Mike Sussman, Robert Doherty and the rest of the Voyager writers and editors, and director Allan Kroeker who came together to give us fans a beautifully written conclusion to such a beloved and timeless series. Likewise, the great Jay Chattaway who beautifully composed an epic score for a satisfyingly epic ending.

And to the actors…. @thekatemulgrew, Robert Beltran, @jerilryan, @mcneill.robbie, @roxanndawson_, @garrettrwang, @trvulcan, Ethan Phillips and Jennifer Lien. You all made this wonderful and timeless series possible ✨💫✨

Behold: Seven of Nine Being Iconic for 7:09 Minutes Straight ✨

A special video completion that took several weeks in the making. To me, Seven of Nine was the heart and soul of Voyager and helped make it into one of the greatest series of all time. She catapulted each scene she was in and dominated with a tenacious spirit and an inspiring journey into humanity.

“Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. But I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey, and reminds us to cherish every moment, because they’ll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we lived.” - Captain Jean-Luc Picard

Godspeed, Sir Patrick Stewart. Today, we learn that the eloquently spoken talent behind Captain Jean-Luc Picard has passed away. From Shakespeare to Star Trek, he presented 60 years of immense talent. A life well-lived and forever remembered 🙏🏻

Celebrating 15 Years of Regina Mills ✨👸🏻🍎

On this day in 2011, ABC’s Once Upon A Time premiered and introduced one of the greatest characters in primetime television. The Evil Queen began her journey depraved and vengeful but due to great character backstory and redeeming herself into a loving mother and friend, Regina Mills became a beloved fan-favorite (and style icon). The journey of Regina Mills was a tragic yet beautiful story phenomenally played by Lana Parrilla weaved with great believability, grace and emotional range. She truly made the series what it was and catapulted each and every scene she took part. Here’s to 15 years of Once Upon A Time and our favorite fairest queen of them all - Mayor Regina Mills ❤️

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to actor Todd Stashwick, the swashbuckling talent who played beloved Captain Liam Shaw in Star Trek: Picard season 3. That incredible season would truly not have been the success it was without @tstashwick and the brilliant mind behind it all - @terrymatalas. Captain Shaw was a man of ethics who had his flaws but always did the right thing even when it rubbed someone wrong or had a crass way of putting someone in their place. In my opinion, he was truly the best modern character in Star Trek post-2005 and a prime example of how and what Star Trek should be in the future. Happy Birthday Todd and thank-you for bringing Liam Shaw aka “Captain No” to life ✨

🤖♥️ WandaVision: A Tribute ♥️🤖

On the eve of the premiere of VisionQuest, the sequel to the enchanting WandaVision let’s take a trip down memory lane of the sweetest couple in the MCU. As a first time viewer, the attention to detail and character development in this series was fantastical and magical. Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen were brilliant in this series and played the homages to classic television with ease and enjoyment, along with cascading raw emotion and grief as the series progressed. Jac Shaeffer and Kevin Feige created a visual masterpiece with Wanda Vision and I’m so excited for its sequel Vision Quest created by Terry Matalas coming soon on October 13 🤖

Happy 25th Anniversary to Star Trek: Enterprise which premiered on this day in 2001 ✨

Starring Scott Bakula as Captain Jonathan Archer, Jolene Blalock as Commander T’Pol, Connor Trinneer as Chief Engineer Charles ‘Trip’ Tucker III, Dominic Keating as Chief of Security Malcolm Reed, Linda Park as Ensign Hoshi Sato, John Billingsley as Doctor Phlox and Anthony Montgomery as Ensign Travis Mayweather, Enterprise was a prequel to Star Trek: The Original Series. Taking place 88 years after the events of Star Trek: First Contact, we follow the journey of the NX-01 and humanity’s first mission into deep space. Created and written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, the series would also have episodes composed by Mike Sussman, Manny Coto, Phyllis Strong, André Bormanis, David Goodman, Chris Black, Terry Matalas and others. Despite being four seasons, Enterprise would remain unlike any other Star Trek, being a truthful prequel to the series that came before and paying homage to the creation of the United Federation of Planets and Starfleet as we would come to know it. Wishing all the creatives and cast a congratulatory anniversary of 25 Years of Enterprise ✨

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to Roxann Dawson who played Chief Engineer B’Elanna Torres on Star Trek: Voyager ✨

For seven seasons, B’Elanna developed into a well-rounded character who accepted herself, matured and changed both internally and externally. In addition to being a competent and enduring role-model, B’Elanna was also the first female Chief Engineer in Star Trek history 💛

✨ Happy Seven of Nine Day ✨

In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Star Trek, I would like to showcase one remarkable character from the franchise: Seven of Nine. Watching her evolution on Star Trek: Voyager was riveting, inspiring and showed a futuristic aspect of a woman growing into herself with the admirable traits of confidence, grace and perseverance. We saw her overcome immense pain and trauma and reestablish herself as her own, confident individual in a walk through the threshold of humanity. In many ways, Seven’s journey on Voyager cascaded an enriched life; experiencing growth, mistakes, triumphs, friendships, family and love. After the agony of reclaiming her individuality which had been stolen from her youth, Seven of Nine showed how you could become a survivor and move forward with conviction while allowing your past make you stronger. And that is truly a ‘legacy’ ✨

Thank-you to the Voyager writers who created Seven and wrote so many beautiful scripts showcasing her growth into humanity. And to @jerilryan for playing her with such composure, dignity and resolve throughout your tenure ❤️

I’m so excited that Jeri Ryan will be heading to Star Trek: Las Vegas and can’t wait to get a picture with her in my own version of this iconically beautiful dress ✨
