I went from knowing exactly when I’d be paid to having absolutely no idea. Adorable.

I’m very new to entrepreneurship, but here’s what I’ve learned so far: building a company is fun, fulfilling and absolutely fucking terrifying.

It’s watching money leave before you know when more is coming. It’s looking like you have your shit together while quietly wondering if you’ve made a terrible financial decision. It’s believing you’re building something enormous—and occasionally considering whether you should crawl back to the safety of a W-2.

Normally, I would have.

Instead, I chose to co-own and operate RU/NED with friends who have become chosen family. We’re building something that feels like us and fulfills us, even while none of us has proof yet that it’s going to work.

Some days, I’m certain we’re going to blow up.

Other days, I’m just a Sexy Lady Under Tremendous Stress.

Most days, both are true.
