POSTS STORIES REELS

“Betting on yourself” is a much cuter phrase before the consistent paychecks stop.

I went from knowing exactly when I’d be paid to having absolutely no idea. Adorable.

I’m very new to entrepreneurship, but here’s what I’ve learned so far: building a company is fun, fulfilling and absolutely fucking terrifying.

It’s watching money leave before you know when more is coming. It’s looking like you have your shit together while quietly wondering if you’ve made a terrible financial decision. It’s believing you’re building something enormous—and occasionally considering whether you should crawl back to the safety of a W-2.

Normally, I would have.

Instead, I chose to co-own and operate RU/NED with friends who have become chosen family. We’re building something that feels like us and fulfills us, even while none of us has proof yet that it’s going to work.

Some days, I’m certain we’re going to blow up.

Other days, I’m just a Sexy Lady Under Tremendous Stress.

Most days, both are true.

⚠️ TW: eating disorder / tracking

I’ve had anorexia for over 10 years.

And if I’m being honest… I can feel the edge creeping back in.

Not in the same way as before — but enough to know I need to get ahead of it.

I’ve been gaining weight, but not in a way that feels good in my body.

So this is me getting back to structure — not restriction.
Back to intention — not control. And doing it before things spiral.

For me, that looks like eating more — not less — just with more consistency and nourishment built in.

Not cutting foods out. Just maybe not building my diet exclusively around donuts and chaos anymore.

This isn’t about perfection — it’s about feeling better in my body again.

If this topic is triggering for you, please take care of yourself and skip this one 🤍

But I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only one navigating this line 🤍

18 years ago, a little boy made me an aunt for the very first time. And yesterday, somehow, that same little boy turned 18.

My KoKo. My forever dance partner. The first of three little boys who would steal pieces of my heart I didn’t even know existed.

One minute I was gagging my way through your diaper changes, and the next, I was throwing away jewelry your little brother had puked all over. Honestly, being an aunt has been a very glamorous experience. And now here we are doing it all over again with our little Zev. Except this time, you get to enjoy the diaper changes and being puked on🤞🏼 #karma

But somewhere between the diapers, the dancing, the laughter, the tears, and all the ridiculous moments in between, you boys gave me one of the greatest gifts of my life.

The chance to love someone like my own.

Koa, I am so unbelievably proud of the young man you’ve become and the man I know you’ll continue to be. I hope life gives you every reason to laugh, love deeply, make mistakes worth learning from, and someday, if you choose, become the incredible father I already know you’d be.

And to my sister, thank you. For making me an aunt. For giving me these boys to love. And for raising a firstborn who has made that title so damn special. And now you get to enjoy the same experience as an aunt (finally) thanks to Benny and Deja. Welcome to the best club there is🥹

KoKo, no matter how old you get, I hope there’s always a little part of you that remembers dancing with your aunt.

Because no matter how big you get, I’ll always save you a dance.

Happy 18th birthday, KoKo. I lubba you🤟🏼🤍 by @libbyzaritsky

It’s easy to tell you the parts of our stories we’re proud of.
These aren’t those parts.

Maybe we’re not your people.

Maybe we’re not the ones you should be learning from.

We’ve made mistakes. We’ve failed. We’ve gotten things wrong. And we’re still figuring plenty of shit out.

But we believe there’s something powerful about bringing imperfect people together who are willing to look in the mirror and do the work.

We’re building something around that belief.

Tomorrow night, we’re opening up the conversation.

Come hear what Ruined is about, meet the people behind it, ask whatever you want, and decide for yourself. by @libbyzaritsky

Social media is weird.

You see two people in love. Perfect photos. Adventures. Smiles. A relationship that looks like it has everything figured out.

But thinking that’s the whole story? Total bullshit.

I love these photos. And I love Lib more than I know how to explain.

But behind them are real struggles. Grief, loss, difficult seasons, arguments, and times we’ve felt more disconnected than we’d like to admit.

I’ve spent most of my adult life teaching people how to lead, communicate, and have difficult conversations.

Yet with the person I love most, I still struggle to do those very things.

I struggle to be present. To listen. I emotionally shut down when I’m triggered.

Turns out it’s a lot easier to teach emotional intelligence than to practice it when your own emotions are involved.

Old wounds, fears, and past experiences have a way of showing up in relationships.

We both go to individual therapy. We’re learning to understand ourselves and each other better. To communicate honestly, listen without defending, and stay vulnerable when everything in us wants to pull away.

Some seasons we’re good at that. Others, not so much.

We’re not the perfect couple in these pictures.

We’re two imperfect people who love each other deeply and are still figuring some things out.

The photos are real.

The love is real.

But so are the struggles. by @libbyzaritsky

RU/NED Membership registration opens October 1. Membership begins in November.

And no, it’s not for everyone.
It’s for people who want to build something. Change something. Get better at something. And would rather do it around other people who are doing the same.

This morning I found what I thought was a tiny moth sitting on the white chair in our home office.

Naturally, I was horrified.

Turns out, it wasn’t a moth. It was a tiny blue-grey butterfly.

Of course Sam would show up looking suspiciously like a moth, scare the shit out of me, and then turn out to be a tiny blue butterfly😂

Blue was his favorite color.

He stayed with me for hours in our office.

I finally got brave enough to get him into a glass and take him outside because I was convinced something was wrong with him.

There wasn’t.

The second I opened the glass, he flew fast and straight into the trees.

And for whatever reason, that part got me.

Grief spends so much time reminding you that someone is gone. Every once in a while, something happens that makes them feel impossibly close again.

Maybe that’s part of grief.

Learning that love can still find you after the line you thought was the end🦋💙
