☆ ALBUM IS OUT THIS FRIDAY 28/8 ☆
Words can't describe our satisfaction with this album. We've always had grand ideas and never felt like we got to express them on full display. This time we've crafted exactly what we wanted.
We were in a rocky, quiet era of the band for some time, confused on what the future held. This album represents more than just our big ideas, but a celebration of Vacate Palace and everything that makes us who we are as people. We've learnt and grown an indescribable amount in the 5 years we've been active, literally since early teenagehood, played every type of show you could imagine, feeling unsatisfied with our output, refining the sound, becoming incredible friends with each other. The creation of this album was done in a stress-fuelled flurry, with crazy deadlines and a lot on the line.
All we hope is that this album brings joy to whoever finds it, and that they feel the fun and emotion we've put on display. We have always wanted to make fun music for everybody, that is the vision.
HUGE thank you go to our friend @lewi.what who made this album with us. We recorded everything at home, and had Lewi mix, master and add his own flare to the album. Couldn't have asked for a better guy to work with and we had so much fun, he is incredible.
Our album launch show will be at Party at the Palace 3. The album naming was intentional, we centred it around the most beloved corridor of our palace, the DIY series we started in 2023. The third is happening on September 4th, a week from the album's release just under 2 weeks away. Tickets are in our bio, it'll be massive one to remember and our last show for a few months as Seb is going away.
Thank you to everyone who has been here along the journey, everyone who's come to a show, shared a nice word to us, supported us online, helped us with hands on deck at shows, tolerated our busy schedules in this stressful, cramped time, and everyone else who know who they are.
☆ VP ARE PROUD AND DELIGHTED TO GIVE YOU OUR FIRST ALBUM ☆
