So, this is 40. In spite of this being the beginning of middle age I feel the best I ever have. I’m still the same as I always was. It wasn’t a phase, I haven’t grown out of it and yet I’m still a successful adult. If there’s one lesson in life I hope to pass on to my children it’s to always be true to yourself. The world can fuck off for somehow always making anyone who grows up a truly unique individual feel juvenile or unequal because of it. I’ll be dressing weird, gate keeping counter culture, watching vampire films, nerding out on vegan baked goods, hunting down my favorite records, playing aggressive music and refusing to work a real job until the day I die. On this milestone birthday I am stoked on my life, my children, my woman, my career, the vegan straight edge, still being Evil Sean and whatever wild shit tomorrow may bring.
