So, this is 40. In spite of this being the beginning of middle age I feel the best I ever have. I’m still the same as I always was. It wasn’t a phase, I haven’t grown out of it and yet I’m still a successful adult. If there’s one lesson in life I hope to pass on to my children it’s to always be true to yourself. The world can fuck off for somehow always making anyone who grows up a truly unique individual feel juvenile or unequal because of it. I’ll be dressing weird, gate keeping counter culture, watching vampire films, nerding out on vegan baked goods, hunting down my favorite records, playing aggressive music and refusing to work a real job until the day I die. On this milestone birthday I am stoked on my life, my children, my woman, my career, the vegan straight edge, still being Evil Sean and whatever wild shit tomorrow may bring. by @evil_sean

So proud of Elsa for earning her first academic awards ever this school year. Also, is our DNA totally indisputable or what? by @evil_sean

16 years ago today I was given the greatest gift a man can ever receive in becoming a father to this amazing human being. It’s been a long journey and while not all of it has been clean or pretty I wouldn’t change a single second of it. Things change, people come and go, but having you by my side gives me hope for everything else that life has to offer and beyond. Love you Bean. by @evil_sean

Over the past year I’ve majorly refocused my creative energy on my professional craft. This was taken by my mentor and homie @brandondarraghhair while filming an instructional series of videos in his studio. I don’t know what exactly will happen with these, but like all things I’m doing I hope it atleast inspires someone to do the same one day. by @evil_sean

In honor of both Rickenbacker and Rick Owens, I dub thee DRKSHDW. This rare kit came from eBay and then disappeared probably due to a cease. In the style of a Rick 480, I dyed it with black leather dye, added all black Schaller hardware and commissioned a one of a kind @avedissianpickups toaster pickup. I think it came out pretty well. Now, who wants to do a sisters of mercy worship band where I get to use this thing? by @evil_sean
