Graand'mii for W.A.T.A.N
The closer and finale; what a strong finish. This look had multiple layers, a custom corset, and hand beading that took me a few days. Graand'mii had to be regal, and a gown was fitting for her. Her story and what she embodies goes so much deeper, and ultimately, I feel like I was able to translate a lot of what I really wanted to with my design choices. There isn't much more to say, Keke came in at the last second and agreed to close for me, and during the fitting, she immediately got into character. I was sold.
This was the first collection that surprisingly didn't stress me out like past shows did. And I think that came from trusting that everything would work out as it should. Maybe it was the finality of all that relieved some of those fears. Wrapping up with W.A.T.A.N soon and moving on to higher heights and greener pastures.
