Pineapple-Shaped Lamps | Comedy • Theatre • Streaming

We are absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of Tim Curry. It goes without saying that without Tim, there would be no Pineapple-Shaped Lamps. You can find evidence of that in every single performance Tim ever gave, not just his iconic role in Rocky Horror. We idolized him in Clue, Muppet Treasure Island, Stephen King's IT, and so many other indelible pieces of pop culture.

But above all, we loved the man himself: a generous, selfless individual who gave every member of our ragtag group permission to be unapologetically flamboyant and unabashedly themselves.

Before he departed, Frank-N-Furter would always serenade us with the heartbreaking anthem "I'm Going Home" and while it's sad that Tim has finally returned to Transylvania, it's comforting to know his legend will live on in every single midnight screening and every Rocky Horror shadowcast ensemble running through the aisles of the theater, encouraging fans new and old to sing along.
